OUR MISSION
We believe that God founded His church on the confession that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the living God. We believe that Jesus has commanded us to "go into all the world and make disciples, baptizing them in His Name, and to command them to observe all His Commandments."
Pastor Paul & Deborah Smith
Paul and Deborah Smith, our pastor and worship leader, have been in ministry together for more than thirty years. Paul has been a pastor and evangelist for more than fifty years. He has a humbleness and sincerity about him, that is both endearing and captivating. Deborah has a singular ability to lead a congregation into the heavenly throne room. They delight in sharing the amazing Love and Power of Almighty God revealed through His Son, Jesus, our Messiah.
THEOLOGY OF ORANGE CREEK CHURCH
At Orange Creek, we consider ourselves as spiritual descendants of John Wesley and the revival he started in England, in the eighteenth century, and which spread to America. We believe in GOD THE FATHER and that He is ALL powerful. We believe that God is LOVE. We believe he loves every created person, BUT he loves us too much to leave us that way. So, HE made a WAY through His Son, JESUS CHRIST, our MESSIAH, for every person to be redeemed and rescued from the power of sin and death.
We believe that Jesus is the ONLY begotton Son of ALMIGHTY GOD, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. We believe Jesus is FULLY GOD and was fully man. We believe He died for our sins on the cross and was resurrected from the dead, on the third day. We believe he ascended into Heaven where He lives to make intercession for us. We believe He will return to defeat all the forces of evil, and to establish the Kingdom of God. We believe that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son being of one substance. We believe the Holy Spirit is with us always, and that He is in all believers who follow Jesus and serve God. We believe the Holy Spirit convicts us of guilt according to sin, judgement, and righteousness.
